WWBIC’s Comprehensive Courses

Business Planning ~ Start Smart

For more than 20 years, WWBIC has offered Start Smart, a 14-session comprehensive business planning class.  We have designed this series to fit the need of many entrepreneurs ~ from future business owners testing the viability of a business idea, to established businesses looking to stabilize or expand their operations.

Through Start Smart, WWBIC teaches the fundamentals of business ownership, market research, marketing strategies, record keeping, cash flow projections, financing and business operations/management.  Weekly guest speakers include business professionals and successful entrepreneurs.  Each participant is encouraged to complete a draft business plan through completion of weekly worksheets, exercises, and coaching.

Personal Money Management ~ Make Your Money Talk

Make Your Money Talk is a comprehensive course that helps individuals improve their personal money management skills, address credit problems and develop a savings plan.  Over six sessions, participants learn easy-to-implement budgeting techniques, understand how to make good purchasing decisions, and develop a personal savings plan that helps meet their goals.  Many people take one or more of WWBIC’s personal money management courses to strengthen their personal financial situation before taking on the risks & rewards of a small business.
