The Wisconsin Women's Business Initiative Corporation (WWBIC) owns and operates Coffee With A Conscience (CWAC). Products such as some of the bakery products you enjoy at our two locations are made by clients who have participated in WWBIC's business training or loan programs. CWAC is a revenue-generating source for both WWBIC and their clients with great potential for growth.
Environmental Conscience
CWAC is committed to reducing waste and eliminating reckless use of nonrenewable resources. We use environmentally sound cups, paper products, and plastics that help prolong the life of our landfills. All of our coffee is organic, which promotes sustainable agriculture, protects farmers and the environment from unsafe applications of fertilizers and pesticides. This promotes sustainable agriculture for our future generations.
Global Conscience
CWAC is sensitive to human beings throughout the world. and believes everyone should have the opportunity to control their own destiny. In purchasing green coffees from around the world, our roaster has consistently recognized the value of buying exceptional certified Fair Trade Organic coffee. Fair trade is a concept connecting producers and consumers in more equitable, meaningful and sustainable ways.
